KIDNEY STONES

Kidney stones come in all shapes and sizes. There are three different surgeries that Urologists can offer (shockwave lithotripsy, ureteroscopy, or percutaneous nephrolithotomy).  Dr. Lee offers all three treatments and would be happy to discuss the details of each treatment with you

URINARY SYMPTOMS

Dr. Lee specializes in the treatment of enlarged prostates and lower urinary tract symptoms (weak stream, urinary urgency, urinary frequency, night time urination, sensation of incomplete bladder emptying). Specifically, Dr. Lee is the only provider in central Ohio performing HoLEP.  Dr. Lee would be happy to discuss the various treatment options for enlarged prostate with you.

RESEARCH AND EDUCATION

The Ohio State University is an academic institution and Dr. Lee is excited to continue to perform research at the University.  His research interests including evaluating surgical techniques for kidney stone treatment and HoLEP, evaluating new technologies e.g. looking at cost-effectiveness of new surgical technologies.  Residents and fellows are also valuable members of his treatment team. He has multiple first author publications on HoLEP and PCNL.
